About Rebecca
Hello and welcome to our blog! I’m Rebecca and I’m so happy that you’ve landed on our website.
First, a bit about me… I’m in my 20s, living in Reading and I started this blog following the completion of my law degree in 2020.
My wonderful fiancé Joe proposed just before we entered lockdown in the UK due to Covid-19, so I anticipate this blog will be an opportunity to share some of our wedding plans with you all! Most fundamentally however, this blog is a space dedicated to our life together as the soon to be Abery’s!
I’m a fan of good food and cheesy puns (hence the name of the blog) and I wanted a space to share my musings about life, faith and my favourite hobby – cooking!
My family also own 3 beautiful cavalier king charles spaniels (Faith, Hope and Kaleb) whom I adore. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and I love them!
I also have chronic migraine and cluster headaches and want to use this as a space to reflect on the highs and lows, triumphs and challenges of living with these conditions.
I am a Christian and one of my favourite verses is Phillipians 4 v 8,
“Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is
excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
I hope this blog will be a place for you to find hope, encouragement and inspiration and I would love for you to join me on this journey as I use this blog as a space to document life in ALL of its wonderful, beautiful, lovely complexity!

Engaged to be married to Rebecca, Joe is very excited for the future and is looking forward to (possibly!) trying his hand at blogging!
Away from Blogging he loves sport, particularly Football and is an avid fan of Reading FC.
